Recently, façade planks seem to be the most popular material amongst architects. The common opinion is that they imitate wood but, in fact, are much better than wooden planks in every respect. Composite façade planks are ecological products, non-flammable and do not require any maintenance, unlike real wood. They have been proven to be long-lasting and their presentation does not deteriorate with years of use. Composite façade planks are widely used on residential building façades or to cover terraces or pavilions.
Available colours and patterns allow easy and low-cost changes to the overall look of the building so that it could match its surroundings, without worrying about constant maintenance works necessary to keep real wood looking good.

Façade planks are fixed to a substructure prepared beforehand. It forms a ventilated façade with an air gap between the lining and the wall insulation layer. To avoid construction faults, the use of façade planks should be decided upon at an early stage with an architect and a contractor.
